About Me
I have been working as a physiotherapist since 2011, following the completion of my bachelor’s degree. Throughout my career, I have worked in various settings, including hospital-based physiotherapy, outpatient orthopedic clinics, pediatrics, oncology, and neurology. These experiences have given me a broad perspective on patient care.
I am particularly drawn to manual therapy, exercise therapy, and gait training. I love interacting with my clients and helping individuals of all ages progress through their rehabilitation and recovery. As a physiotherapist, I aim to promote overall well-being and health-related quality of life which helps people to live their life to the fullest which satisfies me the most. I also enjoy working with high-functioning clients dealing with deficits from Stroke and Brain Tumors.
I believe that physiotherapy is an exciting and challenging profession so continually driven to expand my knowledge and skill set, I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Ottawa, where I also work as a teaching assistant.
In my personal time and outside work, I enjoy traveling and indulging in activities like hiking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
