One of the largest primary care professions in Ontario, chiropractic is a non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that specializes in the detection and treatment of disorders related to musculoskeletal system.
Unlike physiotherapy care which focuses on restoration of mobility and strength, chiropractic care focuses first to provide symptomatic relief for patients with severe muscles or joints pain which limited their mobility and quality of life. Chiropractors practice a manual approach. They do not perform surgery, nor injections, nor provide medication or pharmaceutical advises.
In compliance with their scope of practice, chiropractors are able to provide diagnosis, treatment and preventive care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system and joints. They also can heal lower leg pain due to sciatica, headaches, shoulder(s)/knee(s) pain, and sprain/strain.
If you are unsure whether you are a candidate to receive chiropractic care, our staff can provide you with a 15 minutes complimentary consultation with a chiropractor before becoming a new patient.
